Sixteen make cut at State Am qualifying

Concord Country Club hosted a 2013 New Hampshire Golf Association State Amateur qualifier Monday. Sixteen players made the cut and 20 more missed it. The NHGA State-Am will be held July 8-13 at the Golf Club of New England in Stratham.

Derryfield CC

The Wal-Mart Transportation Golf Tournament was played at Derryfield CC in Manchester Monday and proceeds from the four person team scramble benefitted Boston Children’s Hospital.

The first place foursome with a 60 score were Paul O’Neil, Peter O’Neil, Tim O’Connell and Kevin McGauley. Placing second with a 60 tally were the quartet of Scott Fontaine, Joe Cyr Sr., Ricky Cyr and Andy Cyr.
