The MDC is a nonprofit economic development arm of the city of Manchester whose mission is to promote the growth and prosperity of the city by investing in economic development projects and activities within the city. The organization was formed by the city to be independent of the Board of Mayor and Aldermen, and is charged with supporting the long range planning for proper development of Manchester.
