Man injured in Claremont motorcycle accident

CLAREMONT — One man was injured Friday when his motorcycle went out of control and crashed on Pleasant Street, police said.
Police said the man was trying to pass a car shortly after 5 p.m. Friday when he lost control and crashed. He was taken to Valley Regional Hospital, then later Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, for treatment of injuries.
Police did not name the man, saying family hadn't yet been notified of the accident, nor did they say how severely he was injured. Police said it does not appear that drugs, alcohol or speed were factors in the accident.
