Four escape burning home in Hooksett

HOOKSETT – Four people made it out to safety early Thursday morning when a Roy Road home caught fire.

The blaze was reported about 4 a.m. at the 8 Roy Road home located off South Bow Road. Flames were shooting from the home when the first fire crews arrived and quickly went to two alarms.

By 6 a.m., the fire was under control although firefighters were still pouring water on it.

Fire investigators believe the blaze started in the rear of the building but they have yet to determine what caused it.
