Goffstown man arrested in knife threat
LACONIA – A Goffstown man is under arrest, accused of threatening to stab someone outside a city bar.
Timothy Bailey, 35, of 14 Water Road, is charged with attempted second-degree assault and criminal threatening.
About 6:30 p.m. Wednesday security staff at the Broken Spoke Saloon, 1072 Watson Road, removed Bailey from the premises.
Police said Bailey, once outside, threatened to stab someone if he was not allowed to speak with the person in charge of the bouncers.
The head of the security team went outside to speak with him, but another bouncer saw that Bailey had a six-inch knife in his hand, police said. The bouncers grabbed Bailey and restrained him until police arrived and arrested him.
What's next: Bailey is being held on $25,000 cash bail pending arraignment Thursday in 4th Circuit Court, Laconia District Division.
