Convicted sex offender arrested in Nashua
NASHUA — A convicted sex offender is under arrest after he failed to comply with police registration requirements as a Tier III sex offender.
Police said Keith Lacasse, 42, of 22 Central St., is charged with nine counts of duty to inform, all Class B felonies.
As a Tier III sex offender, Lacasse has strict requirements he must meet, including registering with police on a quarterly basis.
Last March, the police department’s Youth Services Division identified Lacasse as being noncompliant with those registration requirements.
Police said Lacasse didn't tell them of his change in employment, that he had several online identifiers and had changes in his address. He also allegedly provided false information on his sex offender registration form.
Lacasse was convicted in a 2003 case of soliciting a 14-year-old girl for sex on the Internet. It turned out that the teen was actually an undercover Hollis police officer.
Lacasse is being held on $25,000 cash/surety bail.
