EXETER - An Exeter man was arrested Thursday on charges he exposed himself while viewing pornography on his laptop computer at Exeter Public Library.

Allan Harrison, 59, is charged with one count of indecent exposure and lewdness, a misdemeanor.

Police began investigating Harrison after a woman reported that she saw him exposing himself inside the library on May 8.

During the investigation, police said they learned that Harrison was allegedly “gratifying himself” to pornography.

Harrison was arrested on a similar charge related to an incident in 2009 after complaints from a female student at the University of New Hampshire library.

However, that charge was later dropped, according to police.

Harrison was released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in the 10th Circuit District Court in Brentwood on Aug. 5

As part of his bail conditions, Harrison was ordered to stay away from the library.
