HAMPTON – A 47-year-old woman who police say was a “significant source” of heroin in the Hampton Beach area was arrested on felony drug charges Tuesday after police raided her home and seized an assortment of drugs and cash.
Cindy Sheppard, of 51 Ocean Blvd., Unit 5, Hampton, was charged with one count of possession of heroin with intent to distribute and one count of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.
Hampton detectives raided her home Tuesday morning, coming away with quantities of cocaine, heroin and other drugs.
Police said they executed the search warrant on Sheppard’s home without incident.
More charges are expected once the state lab completes testing on other substances seized during the raid, according to police.
Police said Sheppard has been the focus of an ongoing investigation by Hampton detectives into the sale of heroin in the area, calling her a “significant source” of the drug.
She is due to appear for arraignment in 10th Circuit Court, Seabrook District Division, July 10.
