Plane taxis off Concord runway
CONCORD — A single-engine plane tipped off to its side Friday morning after running off the runway at the Concord airport, police said.
Police Sgt. Clifford Kahrs described the accident as minor and said the pilot of the single-engine, high-wing aircraft was unhurt. The incident happened about 11 a.m. Officials closed the airport for a short period of time.
The pilot was the only occupant of the aircraft.
"If it were a car crash, it probably wouldn't be reportable," Kahrs said.
