Man injured in Rindge motorcycle crash

RINDGE — A Jaffrey man was critically injured Thursday when his motorcycle hit a minivan, police said.

Donald Perry, 77, was driving his 2003 Kawasaki motorcycle at the intersection of Routes 119 and 202 in Rindge about 6:15 p.m. Thursday when he crashed into a 2005 Chevrolet minivan driven by Jennifer Streicher, 32, of Rindge.

Perry, who was wearing a helmet, was taken to the University of Massachusetts Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, Mass., where he was in critical condition Thursday night, police said. Streicher was not injured, police said.

Police said speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the accident and there are no charges pending.
