Littleton Food Co-op collecting donations to help summer camp

May 28. 2013 10:17PM

LITTLETON — The Littleton Food Co-op will be collecting checkout-canister donations in June for Copper Cannon Camp, a Franconia organization that provides tuition-free summer camp fun to youth throughout the state.

The Co-op will also donate $1 for every hand-tossed pizza sold from the Co-op Deli on Pizza Fridays.

“We’re happy to work with Copper Cannon Camp this month and help them continue their good work for our state’s youth,” said Co-op manager Ed King.

Founded 50 years ago, Copper Cannon provides a free week-long summer camp experience to more than 450 children each year.
