Shaun Springer

The U.S. Marshals Service District of New Hampshire/Joint Fugitive Task Force has named Shaun Springer as New Hampshire's fugitive of the week.

Springer, 28, is wanted on warrants from the Portsmouth and Lynn, Mass., police departments on charges of second-degree assault – strangulation and assault to murder with a firearm.

Also known by the street name "Shizz," Springer is 5-feet-8, 200 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. He has tattoos on his right forearm. He was last known to be living in Portsmouth, but has extensive family and friends in the Lynn area.

Springer is considered armed and dangerous. The U.S. Marshals Service advises the public not to attempt to apprehend him. Instead, report any information to the U.S. Marshals Service's Concord office at 225-1632.
