Keene budget proposal projects 31% revenue parking meter, 63.5% increase in fines

The anticipated parking fines for 2013-14 are expected to draw $279,026. The projected fines for 2014-15 are $456,407 and $523,375 in 2015-16. Councilor Terry M. Clark asked why there is an expected increase, and city officials said they anticipate higher parking fees for meters downtown.
