Arvanitis, Burroughs tops at NH club champs tourney

LITCHFIELD - Dan Arvanitis of Manchester's Derryfield Country Club fired a 5-under-par 66 and won the NHGA Tournament of Club Champions on Saturday at Passaconaway Country Club.

Arvanitis, competing among senior club champs, posted the lowest score of the day. Matt Burroughs, representing Manchester Golf Matches Assoc., carded a 1-under-pair 70 and captured top honors among regular club champs. He was followed by Decarlo Rodriguez of Passaconaway, who was at even-par.
