Teen hurt in Amherst boating crash
AMHERST — A teenager was treated at the hospital after she was injured in a boating accident on Baboosic Lake on Friday night, authorities said.
A motor boat, operated by Nathan Demers, 20 of Merrimack, and a row boat with two passengers aboard collided about 7:30 p.m. in the area of Camp Young Judaea, according to Marine Patrol.
A 15-year-old girl in the row boat was taken to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua for treatment and released with a bruised knee.
