A Family Promise holding talent search for fall fundraiser

SALEM — The staff at A Family Promise, a charity tackling childhood homelessness in the region, is seeking a few talented men and women to assist with its fall fundraising event.

The first Evening of Thanks & Giving gala and auction will take place Nov. 9 at the Atkinson Country Club.

From now through late July, the search is on for talented, local performers to entertain crowds at the fall event, according to Joan Tavares, chair of the organization's fundraising committee.

Eligible performers should be between the ages of 5-18 and live in one of the towns that are served by Family Promise of Greater Rockingham County: Atkinson, Auburn, Chester, Danville, Derry, Fremont, Hampstead, Kingston, Londonderry, Newton, Pelham, Plaistow, Raymond, Salem, Sandown or Windham.
Talented hopefuls are asked to send a two-minute audition video to, or to Family Promise Greater Rockingham County, Attn: Talent search committee, 145 Hampstead Road, Derry, NH 03038.
Submissions should include name, address, phone number, date of birth, and the name of one legal guardian who is available to attend the event with the performer.

The deadline for all submissions is July 30.
