Somersworth fires Housing Authority chief in wake of $920K theft by underling

At Tuesday’s night Commissioners meeting, SHA Chairman Robert Crichton read a written statement from Joseph McKittrick, the attorney hired to dissect what went wrong to allow the theft of $920,000 over a six-year time span by former SHA fiscal director Lisa Reid, stating that as of 5 p.m. on Monday, May 13, Salinger was terminated from her position.
