Franklin Pierce University plays in regional opener; SNHU has night game
FPU, the sixth seed in the six-team regional, meets top seed Wilmington (Del.) in an 11 a.m. game at Penmen Field. No. 2 St. Thomas Aquinas battles No. 5 Pace in a 3 p.m. game, followed by SNHU and fellow Northeast-10 member New Haven at 7 p.m.The double-elimination tournament continues Friday and Saturday with 11 a.m., 3 p.m . and 7 p.m. games. A possible championship game is set for Sunday at 3 p.m., with another game, if necessary, set for 3 p.m.
