Jaffrey woman charged with arson

JAFFREY - A 48-year-old woman is charged with arson in a May 9 fire that damaged her 23 Forest Park home.

Mary Jane Britch, 48, is accused of setting fire to her home located at Forest Park Estates. She was arrested Friday on felony charges of arson and reckless conduct.

She was detained in the Cheshire County jail pending arraignment Monday in 8th Circuit Court, Jaffrey District Division.

Anyone with information about the fire is asked to call Investigator Keith Rodenhiser of the state Fire Marshal's Office at 223-4289 or Jaffrey police at 532-7865.
