Tax assessor says high land prices being paid for Northern Pass land unlikely to yield tax windfall for towns

Trumbull explained that because there is one company pur- chasing all of the properties for one set purpose, the Dept. of Revenue will look at the land and value as an "assemblage." The value of the parcel will stay the same as it was before it was purchased by Renewable Properties—no matter how much they paid.
