College Baseball: KSC nine ousted


Keene State College collected only four hits and fell to Southern Maine, 4-0, on Thursday in a second-round game of the Little East Conference Baseball Tournament in Gorham, Maine.<br /><br />The best the Owls could muster were doubles by Ian Seawards of Dover (leading off the fifth inning) and Andrew Gummow (in the ninth), but both were stranded.<br /><br />USM scored two runs in the fifth off starter Alan Schiff, then added single runs in the sixth and eighth. Schiff worked 4-1/3 innings, allowing two runs on five hits.<br /><br />KSC finished 18-23.
