Powerball jackpot grows to $270 million for Saturday

CONCORD - No one won last night's jackpot for the Powerball drawing, so Saturday's jackpot is expected to rise to $270 million.

No players matched all six numbers in last night's drawing, so the jackpot rolls over and grows, with lottery officials saying the one-time cash payout option is expected to be $175.8 million, before taxes, on Saturday.

More than 8,000 Granite Staters won more than $47,000 in prize money in last night's drawing. The numbers drawn last night were 21-22-26-30-57 PB 27.

"The Powerball jackpot has passed the quarter-billion dollar mark," said Charlie McIntyre, executive director of the New Hampshire Lottery. "This is the 12th largest Powerball jackpot ever, with $270 million up for grabs.

Powerball tickets are on sale at over 1,250 retailers in New Hampshire until 9:50 p.m Saturday night. Powerball is played in 43 states, Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
