Rindge church will hold yard sale



RINDGE - The First Congregational Church of Rindge will host its annual town-wide yard/garage sale on May 18, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This event is open to all and will be held rain or shine.

Sellers must pre-register - addresses will be entered onto a map of Rindge.

The following fees apply:

* $10 for Rindge residents to have their names and addresses placed on a town map.

* $15 for space (12' x 12') on the lawn at the Rindge Meeting House

Sellers will be responsible for providing their own tables and displaying, marking and selling their own goods.

Free maps and a list of locations will be available at the Meeting House, beginning at 7 a.m. on May 18 .

Roast beef dinner at Bristol church



BRISTOL - The Dynamite Dinner Crew of the Bristol United Church of Christ will host a roast beef dinner on Saturday, May 11, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the church's Fellowship Hall.


The menu includes roast beef, roasted red bliss potoatoes, gravy, vegetable, garden salad, rolls, beverages and desserts and ice cream.

The cost is $8 for adults, $4 for children under 12.

The next supper will be roast beef in September.
