Teen kidnapped at mall, taken to Hooksett, made to strip, set free in apparent vendetta

MANCHESTER — Two men were arrested in Hooksett Saturday after police say they kidnapped a teenager from the parking lot of the Mall of New Hampshire.

Don Little, 29, of 7 Piper St., Rochester, and Michael Renfrew, 24, of 87 Batchelder Road, Raymond, were charged with kidnapping, according to Manchester Police Sgt. Craig Rousseau.

The men allegedly took the 17-year-old boy to a wooded area in Hooksett, he said.

"They made him strip down and told him to basically start running," Rousseau said. "Apparently, this could be in retaliation for some offense the 17-year-old committed against one of their family members."

"Definitely not a random attack," Rousseau said.
One of the men gave the impression he was armed with a gun, although no weapon was shown, according to police. After the teen was driven to a Hooksett neighborhood, he was forced to exit the car, and the two walked him into a wooded area where he was ordered to strip naked. The men then ordered the victim to run, striking him when he did not immediately comply. The youth showed up naked at a Hooksett residence, asking for help.

When stopped later, Little and Renfrew were in a car that contained the victim's clothing, according to police.
Little was released on $5,000 cash/surety bail and is expected to be arraigned in 9th Circuit Court, Manchester District Division, May 15. Renfrew was held on $5,000 bail.
