Mass. man accused of stealing 42 pairs of jeans from Sears in Nashua
NASHUA - Nashua police arrested a man from Lawrence, Mass., Monday after he turned himself in for a March theft at the Sears store in the Pheasant Lane Mall involving 42 pairs of jeans.
Thet Naung, 33, of 317 South Broadway, Lawrence, was arrested at the Nashua Police Department and charged with theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, a class A felony punishable by up to 15 years in state prison.
Police said the theft occurred March 23, with the jeans valued at more than $1,500.
Detectives identified Naung as a suspect and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Naung is being held at the Nashua Police Department pending his arraignment in 9th Circuit Court, Nashua District Division, Tuesday.
