'Gospel of Mark Alive' at The United Church of Jaffrey

JAFFREY - On Sunday, May 5, at 4 p.m., the Rev. Bert Marshall will present "The Gospel of Mark Alive," a dynamic, multimedia performance of the Gospel of Mark, the whole gospel, told from memory, beginning to end.

All ages and spiritual traditions are invited to share this event. The church is handicapped-accessible.

This free, story-telling performance will be at The United Church of Jaffrey, 54 Main St., followed by refreshments and opportunity to ask questions of Rev. Marshall.

Marshall is the New England regional director of Church World Service, responsible for international disaster relief and food ministry, notably in this area for the annual Crop Walk.

The event is sponsored by three churches, First Church in Jaffrey, UCC, First Congregational Church of Rindge, and The United Church of Jaffrey.

For more information, go to Marshall's website:, or call The United Church of Jaffrey at 532-7047.
