Portsmouth Herald: Aging New Hampshire needs to revisit elderly exemption
Demographer Peter Francese, who lives in Exeter, has warned about the state's aging population pushing out the younger population and its long-term economic impact. "We are the fastest-aging state in the country," he said. "We're viewed as a fantastic place to retire. There's no income tax, no sales tax and if you're over 65 and play your cards right, no property tax."
