Rochester residents indicted on robbery charges

JACOB NYBERG

SANDRA JEAN FALLON

DOVER - Two people were indicted for felony robbery after police say they robbed a woman in Rochester in February.

Jacob Nyberg, 22, of 10 Pleasant St., Rochester, was charged with four counts of robbery, while Sandra Jean Fallon, 24, of 11 Olde Farm Lane, Apt. 5, Rochester, was charged with two counts of robbery and one count of falsifying physical evidence.

A Strafford County grand jury handed up the indictments April 18.

The charges stem from a Feb. 14 incident in which the pair allegedly robbed a woman along Davey Anne Locke Lane in Rochester. While committing the theft, police say they put a gun in a woman's face and struck her.

Fallon, who previously lived on Atkinson Street in Dover, hid a purse under her own bed after the incident, according to the indictments.

The woman, who said she recognized Fallon and Nyberg, was later treated for non-life threatening injuries at Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester.

Nyberg and Fallon, who have been held in the Strafford County jail on $25,000 and $10,000 cash bail, respectively, are scheduled to be arraigned in Strafford County Superior Court May 2 at 9 a.m.

Each count of robbery is a class A felony that could result in a sentence of up to 7½ to 15 years in prison. Falsifying physical evidence is a class B felony which could yield up to 3½ to 7 years in prison.
