NHIAA Roundup: Nashua North girls outscore Salem
Salem was led by Lizzy Twomey and Shari Juranovits who each scored two goals. Janelle Borges and Ashley Hayes each netted one goal. Sierra Mullin had seven saves for Nashua North (2-2) and Kara Thomas turned back 11 shots for 1-2 Salem.
Bishop Guertin 18, Dover 4: At Dover, Callie Santos burned the Green Wave with six goals, and Bishop Guertin (3-0) stayed on a roll in Division I. Nicole Pettiglio and Averi Farhat scored four goals apiece, and goalie Lauren Trepaney made five saves. Dover dropped to 1-3.
Timberlane 7, Keene 6: At Plaistow, Payton Wilhelm led Keene with three goals, but Timberlane (2-3) rallied for the victory with a strong second half. Keene (1-3) dropped its third straight.
Bishop Guertin 16, Nashua North 2: Tom Hurley, Colin Swanson, Mike Carluccio and Mitch Burke 2-0 each scored twice for visiting BG (4-1). North (2-2) was led by Jake Genest with two goals.
Londonderry 16, Nashua South 8: In Londonderry, Lancers goalie Erik Kenison stopped 10 shots in the win. Kyle Hussey had six goals in the win. Pat Goff had three goals for Nashua South (1-1). Londonderry is 2-1.
John Stark 12, Stevens 6: In Claremont on Wednesday, unbeaten John Stark (3-0) was led by attackmen Matt Richard and Brody Fredricks with five goals apiece. Richard added four assists. Stevens fell to 1-2.
Souhegan 10, Concord 3: In Amherst, Mitch Hale scored five goals for the 3-1 Sabers. Blake Burnley had a hat trick and Mack Walker collected two goals and five assists.
Tyler Martel, Sean Mamos and Austin Erickson each scored for 0-5 Concord.
Hanover 19, Central 4: At Hanover, Conor Austin had three goals and three assists as the Marauders improved to 6-0 on Thursday. Tyler Cornellier had a pair of goals for Central (1-1), and goalie Marquis Sutton made 12 saves.
Pinkerton 21, Memorial 0: In Manchester, Pinkerton improved to 4-1 behind three goals and four assists from Dominic Corsetto. Joshua Gallant had three goals and two assists and James Tulley contributed two goals and two assists for the Astros. Memorial dropped to 0-4.
Timberlane 20, Memorial 2: At Manchester, Caroline Salvaneschi went 5-for-5 and the Owls racked up 25 hits at the Memorial High diamond. Madison Bishop and Masha Lange each homered for Timberlane (5-0). Memorial fell to 0-4.
Pembroke 4, Goffstown 3: In Pembroke Wednesday, Goffstown (2-1) couldn't protect an early 3-0 lead. Goffstown pitchers Kaila Colon and Haeli Campbell combined for 12 strikeouts on the mound. Nicole Nanof had two hits for the Grizzlies. Pembroke evened its record to 2-2.
Windham 2, Pelham 1: In Windham, Pelham's Sarah-Jane Spicer had an RBI hit. Jordan Parece allowed five Jaguar hits and pitcher Rachel Vafides allowed just three Pelham hits.
Exeter 5 Pinkerton 1: In Exeter, Pinkerton pitcher Natalie Fabrizio fanned 10 batters in the loss. Megan O'Brien had a single and double for two runs batted in for 3-1 Exeter. Pinkerton (1-3) was led by Courtney Collins, who had team's only extra base hit.
Trinity 7, John Stark 6: In Manchester, down by a run with two on and two outs in the home eighth, Michelle Taylor drove in the tying and winning runs.
Spaulding 12, Pinkerton 2: In Rochester Wednesday, Pinkerton (1-3) received two hits from Nate Rossi.
