Federal case against Weare officer for improper use of wiretap law to arrest Goffstown man hits setback

The Goffstow Division of the New Hampshire Circuit Court granted Alleman’s motion for judgment of acquittal, ruling that he was engaged in activity protected by the First Amendment when he recorded the traffic stop.
