Salem marathoner finished race and is safe and sound
Marathon runner Sam Fazioli, 21, a graduate of Salem High School who currently attends Northeastern University, said he was safe and sound following Monday's marathon explosion.
Fazioli, who finished the course in two hours and 38 minutes, posted a status on his Facebook page just after 6 p.m.
"We all are good," reported Fazioli, whose family members attending the race had also made it out of harm's way.
