Hooksett crash leaves more than a thousand without power

HOOKSETT - A rollover accident in Hooksett Monday morning has left more than a thousand people without power.

According to police, a Honda SUV rolled over on Hooksett Road, or Route 3, just before 9:30 a.m., taking out power lines and electricity for around 1,200 people. The accident occurred in the area of 1180 Hooksett Road, near the intersection of Mammoth Road.

The driver was removed from the vehicle by witnesses, who broke the windows to free her. According to witnesses, the woman was upset that her pit bull had taken off, and she ultimately had to be restrained.

According to police, she was brought to the hospital for reasons unrelated to the accident.
