Fired Portsmouth school worker charged with sex assault arrested again, for stalking

PORTSMOUTH - A city man, out on bail for attempted sexual assault and other charges, was arrested Sunday on nine counts of stalking a witness in the case.

Kenneth P. Kimber, 34, of 93 Osprey Drive, was ordered March 12 to specifically not have contact with a witness in the pending criminal cases, which included three counts of certain uses of a computer, five counts of indecent exposure, attempted aggravated felonious sexual assault and interference with custody.

Police said he violated the court order when he contacted the witness nine times between March 24 and April 8.

Kimber posted $9,000 bail and will be arraigned in May in 10th Circuit Court, Portsmouth District Division.
