Fisher Cats lose slugfest in Binghamton

Switch-hitter John Tolisano had a pair of doubles as the Fisher Cats banged out 18 hits, but the Binghamton Mets prevailed, 15-7, in a slugfest between division foes at Binghamton, N.Y., on Friday. The Mets scored 11 runs in the third inning, chasing New Hampshire starter Tyson Brummett (0-1) and reliever Clint Everts before a crowd 1,353 at NYSEG Stadium.

Mets lefty Mark Cohoon (2-0) picked up the win after working two innings of relief.

Fisher Cats leadoff hitter Kenny Wilson went 4-for-6 while Tolisano went 3-for-5.
