The spring storm that's dumping freezing rain and a thin layer of snow on the area prompted cancellations of all after-school activities in SAU 19, which comprises Goffstown, Dunbarton and New Boston. The school district also canceled the dance scheduled for tonight at Mountain View Middle School.
In neighboring Bedford, all after-school activities will go on as scheduled, said SAU 25 Superintendent Timothy Mayes. He said a "March Madness" event at the middle school will go on as scheduled.
In Hooksett, the SAU 15 office said the decision to cancel after-school activities is being left up to the principals at Underhill Elementary, Hooksett Memorial and Cawley Middle School.
The police departments in Bedford and Goffstown reported no major incidents or accidents related to the storm.
