Windham residents protest house number changes
WINDHAM -- A group of Cobbetts Pond Road residents have petitioned the town of Windham to reconsider a plan to change their house numbers.
Town Administrator David Sullivan said proposed changes were due to a recent lot merger, as well as the need to update the town's 911 emergency directory.
Six property owners would be affected by the change. Sullivan said four of those residents had contacted expressed concerns over the changes.
A public hearing on the matter will take place during an upcoming Board of Selectmen meeting.
Overall, it's just a great year for tourism
