NH College Roundup: FPU's Mathieu is NE-10 baseball player of week

Franklin Pierce University first baseman Zach Mathieu of Derry was named Northeast-10 baseball player of the week. On the season, he has nine doubles, one triple and five homers. He has scored 35 runs and has driven in 25 runs. He has 13 stolen bases in 16 attempts and has drawn 17 walks. He is batting .356.

UNH: In women's lacrosse, Laura McHoul, a freshman attack, was named America East rookie of the week. McHoul recorded 12 points (three goals, nine assists) on UNH's 17 goals in two games last week.

St. Michael's College: In women's lacrosse ,sophomore Taylor Midgley of Hampton was named to the Northeast-10 honor roll.

Dartmouth College: In women's lacrosse, Kristen Giovanniello and Hana Bowers were named Ivy League Defensive Player of the week and co-offensive player of the week respectively.

Plymouth State: The Little East Conference named senior Rew Wilson as its baseball pitcher of the week for the second straight week. The LEC also honored Amy MacDonald and Caitlin Swanson of Holderness as its women's lacrosse offensive and defensive player of the week, respectively.

Keene State: Lacrosse goalies freshman Alex Sharp (rookie of the week) and junior Erin Taylor (goalie of the week) and senior javelin thrower Glenn Guilmette of Kensington earned Little East Conference honors.
