'Out-of-control' SNHU visitor faces alcohol charges
HOOKSETT - A Massachusetts teen visiting a Southern New Hampshire University student was arrested on alcohol-related charges early Sunday morning after police received a report of a man 'out of control' in the woods bordering a SNHU parking lot.
Police said Alexander Baptista, 19, of Quincy, Mass., was arrested by Hooksett police after the report that a drunken man was in the woods.
Baptista was found and arrested shortly after police responded to the 4:15 a.m. call. He was charged with being a minor in possession of alcohol and with intoxication.
Police said he refused the services of a bail commissioner and was taken to Merrimack County House of Corrections to await arraignment Monday morning.
