Woman sexually assaulted in UNH dorm

DURHAM - A campus-wide alert was issued on Saturday at the University of New Hampshire after a non-student female was sexually assaulted in Sawyer Hall by an unknown male.

According to the alert sent by the UNH Police Department on Saturday morning, the assault happened in the dorm around 2:30 a.m. The unknown male is described as white, taller than 5'7" with short dark hair. He was wearing a white shirt and blue jeans.

The UNH Police Department has asked anyone with information about this incident or similar incidents to contact them at 862-1427.
