Woman hurt canoeing down McIntyre tubing trail in Manchester
The group boarded the canoe around 3 a.m. Sunday, then gravity and the slick snow took over from there.
"It didn't stop at the end and launched into woods," Sgt. John Patti said Monday.
The wooden canoe split in half. One woman broke her ankle, but the other three escaped serious injury, Patti said.
As of Monday, no charges were pending.
