Former Laconia bar owner sentenced for Vt. murder-for-hire plot
HARTFORD, Vt. (AP) — A former New Hampshire nightspot owner was sentenced to 10 to 15 years in prison in Vermont for hiring a hit man to kill his former business partner and an ex-girlfriend, which he claimed was a desperate move after a series of hardships.
