Moriarity elected in Hebron

HEBRON – Patrick Moriarity's 118 votes defeated opponent John W. Dunklee's 43 votes to win a three-year seat on the board of selectmen.
 
Moriarity will replace outgoing selectman John Fischer.
 
In the only other contested race in town elections, William A. Powers tallied 85 votes to defeat challenger Mavis R. Brittelli's 64 votes for a library trustee position for three years.
