Fire destroys house in Tamworth

TAMWORTH - A seasonal home in the Wonalancet section of Tamworth was destroyed by fire late Monday afternoon.

The Tamworth Fire Department responded to a call shortly after 3 p.m. and upon arrival found the house at 215 Fowlers Mill Road fully involved. No one was injured.

The State Fire Marshal's Office has been called to investigate the cause of the fire. The property is listed as for sale by Re/Max Presidential and is described as a two-story colonial home built in the 1930s.
