Woman hit by car in Spofford
SPOFFORD— A woman was injured Saturday when she was hit by a car while at the Spofford post office parking lot.
Police said Susan Lawton, 65, was getting out of her car shortly before 11 a.m. Saturday when she was hit by a car driven by Stephen Pfistner, 56, of Spofford. Pfistner thought he'd placed his car in park and, when he took his foot off the brake, his car rolled into Lawton, hitting her leg, police said.
Lawton was taken to Cheshire Medical Center in Keene for treatment, police said.
