Pelham road closed due to burst water main across stateline

PELHAM - A burst water main across the stateline in Methuen, Mass., forced Pelham police to temporarily shut down Old Gage Hill Road Wednesday afternoon.

The roadways were closed for several hours while local highway department workers in Methuen moved fast to repair the damaged main on Hampshire Road, which connects to Old Gage Hill Road at the stateline.

Both roads were reopened shortly before 5 p.m.
