Economic expert: NH now a laggard, not leader




“Is New Hampshire doing better than most states? No we aren’t,” said Gottlob, via a PowerPoint slide at the start of his talk. He went on to show graphs and tables of national economic trends that underpinned his case. “We have gone from a leader to a laggard,” he said, asserting that the high cost of living in New Hampshire, coupled with few job opportunities “is a bad combination.”
