Ex-Tyco chief Kozlowski wins rehearing after court finds parole board only considered 'seriousness of crime' in rejecting early release

Huff in a ruling dated Feb. 5 granted Kozlowski's petition, annulled the decision and sent it back to the Board of Parole for a "de novo," or new, hearing, saying it appears that the panel "relied exclusively on the seriousness of petitioner's crime in reaching its determination."
