Windham to celebrate Harvest Fest this weekend
WINDHAM — The Recreation Department is celebrating autumn’s arrival this weekend at the annual Harvest Fest celebration at Griffin Park on Saturday.
Festivities start at 11:30 a.m. with a doggie costume parade hosted by Woof Woof Professional Dog Services.
Traditional fall activities include a pie-baking contest from 1 to 2 p.m. and a pumpkin art table from 1 to 3 p.m. Other seasonal favorites include complimentary hay rides and a visit from Granite State Zoo from 1 to 3 p.m.
Children take the spotlight with a kiddie costume parade starting at 2:30 p.m. on Field C. The fun concludes with trick-or-treating at Griffin Park from 3 to 4 p.m.
