Firefighters were battling a two-alarm blaze in Hinsdale late Monday night.

The fire broke out at a two-story building at 8 Main St. and first reported about 10:30 p.m., a fire dispatcher said. The building has a business on the first floor and an apartment upstairs.

Firefighters from four neighboring communities were assisting Hinsdale battle the blaze, which was not under control at 11:25 p.m.
