GOFFSTOWN -- Reed Street will be closed during the days for about two weeks due to sewer construction, the town said in a release. The work will begin today at 7 a.m. and is expected to last two weeks. The road will be closed to traffic from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday during the construction and will be open at night and on weekends, the release said. Residents in the work zone will be allowed to use the road.
MANCHESTER -- Bill Barry, a candidate for Hillsborough County sheriff, recently picked up four endorsements, according to an announcement released Friday.
According to Barry's release, endorsing him were the Manchester Police Supervisors and Patrolmen, Nashua Police Supervisors and Patrolmen, Hudson Police Employee Association and the National Education Association of New Hampshire.
